If your dolly won’t stay vertical while in use, you may have a loose ball mount connection.
Be sure to follow the installation instructions to guarantee a flush, tight connection between your trailer’s coupler and the hitch ball:
- Machine screws (or weld spots on older hitch models) should be turned to 10 o’clock before inserting the Ball Mount Adapter into the trailer's coupler.
- Tighten the adapter counter-clockwise by hand, then several times with the tightening bar or wrench.
- When lowering the trailer into the dolly, rock the dolly up and down with the handle in between to make sure it is not loose.
If your trailer connection is not flush to the adapter, then we recommend using the provided Thrust Washer adapter with a removable puzzle piece.
Some coupler types may still be incompatible, even after using the standard Thrust Washer. If this is the case for your connection, please take photos and contact support@parkit360.com for help, or refer to our compatibility article.
