Do I need a Thrust Washer?

There's a reason why we include a Thrust Washer with every Ball Mount Adapter – we highly recommend using it for every connection process.

The Thrust Washer can be useful for:

1. Ensuring that there is no gap between the Ball Mount Adapter and coupler while tightening the adapter, especially in the connection of a step-down coupler.
2. Providing a flush connection when connecting to a flat coupler for extra stability.
